Songrisa — Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: email address, display name, login codes, language preferences, Credit balance, and purchase history.
• Google sign-in: if you use Google to sign in, we receive your email address, basic profile information, and Google account identifier for account creation and recognition. You can disconnect Songrisa through your Google account settings.
• Information used to create a song: occasion, style and mood, the person's name, your relationship to that person, the story and details you provide, and lyric or music edits.
• Generated information: lyrics, previews, and song files associated with your account.
• Payment information: Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. If you are signed in, we share your email address and display name with Dodo Payments to pre-fill the checkout form, process your payment and send you a receipt. From Dodo Payments we receive certain transaction information, including the transaction amount, and the name and email address you enter at checkout. If you pay before signing in, we keep the purchase with your browser session, pre-fill the sign-in form with that email address, and move the purchase to your account once you sign in. If your account has no display name, we use the name you entered at checkout as your display name; it is shown as the sender on songs you share, and you can change it in Settings. For Pix payments, Dodo Payments may collect your CPF directly; Songrisa does not receive or store your CPF. We also do not receive or store full payment-card details, which are processed directly by Dodo Payments.
• Technical and usage information: IP address, device and browser information, screens viewed, timestamps, errors, and performance information.
• Affiliate and referral program information: If you reach Songrisa through an ambassador's or a friend's program link, we keep that link's code (an ambassador or referrer identifier) together with the time you followed it, and we record which program, if any, your account is linked to. If you are linked to a program, or if you open your personal referral link in Songrisa, we create a record for you with our program provider, Partnero, as described in §7.

3. How and Why We Use Information

We use information to create songs, operate accounts, process purchases, send service communications, maintain security and legal compliance, troubleshoot problems, and understand how the product is used.

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, processing needed to provide the requested service is based on performance of a contract; marketing and non-essential cookies are based on consent where required; security and product improvement may be based on our legitimate interests; and retention of transaction records may be based on legal obligations. Where applicable, you may object to processing based on legitimate interests as described in §10.

We do not sell personal information. With your consent to advertising measurement, we use Google Ads to measure the effectiveness of our advertisements, including which ads lead to visits and purchases. You can change or withdraw this consent at any time in Cookie settings.

Affiliate and referral programs. We use this information to credit the ambassador or friend who invited you, to calculate and review their commission or bonus, to give bonus song credits, to handle refunds and disputes, and to prevent abuse. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, this is performance of the program terms you entered by following the program link, and our legitimate interest in running and protecting the programs. It is separate from, and does not depend on, your analytics or advertising consent choices.

4. How Long We Keep Information

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law.

Songs are stored while an account remains active and may be deleted after prolonged inactivity following advance email notice. Information about the person a song is about is deleted with the song.

Account information is deleted within 30 days after account closure, except where we must retain particular records for legal, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, tax, accounting, or evidentiary purposes.

Payment records and records of consent are retained for periods required by applicable tax, accounting, legal, and evidentiary rules. We may keep a marketing opt-out record indefinitely so that we do not accidentally resume marketing to someone who has opted out.

Affiliate and referral programs. When you close your account we do not delete your record at Partnero; we replace the personal details on it (name and email) with anonymous placeholders, so that earlier commissions, refunds and rewards of other people can still be settled correctly. We keep a short record of which program your account was linked to and which ambassador's or friend's code, with no name or email, for as long as needed to settle past orders and, if you later register again with the same email address, to restore your account as it was. Order records, amounts and refund records are retained like other payment records (see above).

5. Marketing Emails

We may send offers relating to Credits, product news, and reminders about unfinished songs.

If you have not purchased from us, we send these emails only where you have asked for them — by selecting the opt-in checkbox when you create your account, or through your email preferences. If you have purchased from us, we may send marketing communications about our own similar products or services where applicable law permits, unless you have told us not to.

Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe mechanism that does not require signing in. You may also manage available preferences in your profile.

Opting out of marketing does not stop service messages such as login codes, receipts, security notices, or messages about your songs.

6. Information About the Person a Song Is About

We may hold information about people who are not Songrisa users because a user creates a song about them.

Songs are private to the creating account. We do not publish them or provide a public search or public gallery. Information about the Recipient is used to create and store the song, is not used to build an advertising profile, and is deleted when the song is deleted, subject to any legally required retention.

If you believe a Songrisa user created a song about you and you want to raise a concern, contact support@songrisa.io. We may ask you to verify your identity before taking action.

7. Who We Share Information With

We share information only with service providers needed to operate Songrisa, subject to contracts and safeguards appropriate to their role. These categories may include:

• AI providers used to generate lyrics and music, including Mureka (Skywork AI Pte. Ltd., Singapore), which generates the music;
• Dodo Payments, our payment provider and merchant of record;
• Partnero (Partnero Inc., 228 Park Ave S PMB 54955, New York, NY 10003-1502, USA), our partner-rewards provider. If you came through a partner link, we send Partnero your name and email (when we hold one), an account key, and your purchase amounts and refund status, so it can calculate rewards for the person who invited you. Otherwise we send it nothing about your purchases;
• PostHog, our analytics tool;
• hosting and infrastructure providers;
• email-delivery providers; and
• Google, which provides Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for website and purchase analytics and Google Ads for advertising-performance measurement, subject to your consent choices described in Section 8.

If you sign in with Google, Google receives information about the sign-in and processes information under its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the Services.

8. International Transfers and Cookies

We operate from Georgia, and our providers may be located in different countries. As a result, personal information may be processed outside your state, country, or region of residence.

Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, we use recognized mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally permitted safeguards.

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate Songrisa, maintain secure sign-in sessions and remember your preferences. Optional analytics and advertising measurement require your consent.

With your Analytics consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how people use Songrisa and measure purchases and revenue. Information sent to Google may include pages viewed, actions taken, device and browser information, browser or session identifiers, and purchase information such as an order reference, purchase time, product, amount and currency.

After Dodo Payments confirms a payment, our server may send the purchase information to GA4 even if you do not return to Songrisa—for example, after paying through Pix. This reporting follows your saved Analytics consent choice and any subsequent withdrawal recorded before the event is sent.

With your separate consent to Advertising measurement, we also use Google Ads, including eligible purchase information received through GA4, to measure which advertisements lead to visits and purchases and improve campaign performance. Analytics consent does not automatically enable Advertising measurement. These choices do not enable personalized advertising through Google.

We do not include names, email addresses, CPF numbers, payment-card details or song content in these analytics and conversion events. Learn how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services.

You can change or withdraw your optional consent at any time in Cookie settings. Your updated choices apply to future optional processing. Refusing optional analytics or advertising measurement does not prevent you from using Songrisa or completing a purchase.

9. Security

We use reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

If a personal-data breach occurs, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities when applicable law requires us to do so.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to or a copy of your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, or receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Residents of certain U.S. states may also have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as the right to confirm whether we process their personal information, obtain a copy, correct or delete certain information, and opt out of certain uses if those uses occur. Songrisa does not sell personal information. With your consent to advertising measurement, we use Google Ads to measure the effectiveness of our advertisements, including which ads lead to visits and purchases. You can change or withdraw this consent at any time in Cookie settings.

To exercise a privacy right, email privacy@songrisa.io from the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Where applicable law permits an authorized agent to submit a request for you, we may require proof of the agent's authority and may still need to verify your identity directly.

11. Age

Songrisa is intended for people age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or other people below the minimum age for the Services. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us, contact privacy@songrisa.io.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or through the Service before it takes effect where required, and we will update the date at the top of the Policy.
